I’m a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPS-MH) with over three years of experience in the mental health field, including a dedicated year of direct peer support. I bring a trauma-informed, recovery-centered approach—leveraging my lived experience to motivate, inspire, and build strong rapport with the people I support.

In my current CPS-MH Team Lead role, I facilitate support groups, deliver one-on-one client care, and manage compliant documentation for recovery tracking and medical billing, while ensuring strict HIPAA compliance and hygienic safety standards. I’m also WRAP certified (2025) and skilled in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and teaching sustainable coping skills that help individuals work toward their personal wellness goals. Previously, as a paraprofessional for students with Severe/Moderate Intellectual Disabilities and behavioral health challenges, I collaborated in IEP/504 planning, adapted instruction to diverse needs, coached appropriate peer socialization, and provided essential health and hygiene support in an inclusive classroom setting.
