What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply confidential GBV/human-rights case documentation, structured interviews, and clear French/Creole reporting—supporting protection referrals and community awareness through collaboration with authorities and civil society.

I’m a Native Haitian Creole speaker and fluent French professional with a strong legal and human-rights background. I bring over four years of field experience in case documentation, referral, community sensitization, and structured reporting.

As a Field Protection Officer with OPC (AJULIH / ASF Canada Project), I received, logged, and tracked judicial follow-up on complaints related to GBV, trafficking, and pretrial detention. I conduct sensitive, structured interviews with victims—including women and children—using precise, culturally appropriate language to build trust and capture testimony accurately.

I’m meticulous about confidentiality and non-discrimination, and I maintain a structured case database while producing weekly, monthly, and annual written reports in French and Creole. I also facilitated community awareness campaigns on human rights, GBV, child protection, and PSEA principles, explaining complex concepts accessibly in Haitian Creole.

Before that, I supported judicial follow-up by receiving and processing human rights violation complaints and assisting with GBV, trafficking, and prolonged pretrial detention cases. Earlier, I worked in reception and legal file organization, and I also have experience entering and quality-checking statistical data—skills that help me deliver reliable, deadline-driven work.
