What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a school team focused on strong literacy outcomes, collaboration, and evidence-based instruction. I want to lead and co-plan with educators, use assessment data to improve instruction, and support diverse learners with confidence and consistency.

I’m a dedicated educator with eight years of experience fostering nurturing, inclusive classrooms, and I currently serve as a K-2 reading interventionist. I plan and deliver targeted small group reading instruction both inside and outside general education, using DIBELS to implement, measure, and refine instruction.

Previously, I served as a 1st grade team leader, supporting two new teachers and leading team meetings. I collaborated with administrators and specialists—special education, ELD, reading specialist, and math coach—to align expectations and deliver high-quality instruction across reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and health.

I bring strong instructional planning and differentiated teaching for diverse learners in Title 1 settings, including leading IEP meetings and working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. My curriculum knowledge includes Benchmark Advance, Really Great Reading, Core Knowledge Language Arts, and Eureka, and my training includes Orton Gillingham, Woodcock Johnson IV, Brigance Early Development III, and SMART Board-based instruction.
