What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an inclusive school team where I can use trauma-informed, differentiated instruction to strengthen student progress. I want classrooms that value clear routines, co-planning, and data-driven support through assessments and IEP-aligned strategies.

I’m currently a Second Grade Teacher at Alexander Central School, where I facilitate clear and consistent classroom management in a blended classroom and provide differentiated support to all students. I plan and implement differentiated lessons using a variety of instructional strategies, and I assess, record, and communicate student progress throughout the year.

Previously, as a First Grade Teacher at Letchworth Central School, I served as a “demo classroom” for district observation of ELA & math curriculum implementation. I also conducted a training seminar on online elements of curriculum for fellow teachers, while continuing to focus on differentiated instruction, classroom management, and student progress monitoring.

My background also includes special education leadership and inclusive practice through roles as an Elem Special Education Teacher, H.S. SpEd Teacher (long-term sub), and co-teaching positions that supported progress monitoring and input at IEP meetings. I bring a strong foundation in trauma and resilience in educational settings, plus certifications in Childhood Education (1-6), Students w/ Disabilities (1-6), and ESOL (K-12), supported by tutoring work that built literacy, math, and social/communication skills.
