What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can support patient access and timely care through accurate authorizations, payer portal research, HIPAA-aware documentation, and patient cost education—while continuously improving workflows in a high-volume healthcare environment.

I’m a healthcare administration and operations professional focused on prior authorization and patient access. I complete insurance authorizations for surgeries, imaging, durable medical equipment, and injections, while verifying eligibility and educating patients on expected costs and financial responsibility.

Across authorization and financial counseling roles, I use payer portals, third-party systems, and authorization guidelines to support accurate approvals. I resolve authorization issues through clear communication with patients, clinical teams, and insurance companies, and I improve turnaround time with better organization and authorization tracking.

I also bring hands-on clinical workflow experience, including phlebotomy and lab processing. I perform peripheral venipuncture, operate Sysmex blood count equipment, support specimen handling and inventory control, and train others on HIPAA-aware documentation and process expectations.
