Calvin Lombaard

I am a dedicated full stack web developer with extensive experience building and maintaining web applications for clients in South Africa and the USA. I lead development projects, handled system administration and delivered end-to-end solutions using Django, Laravel, Wordpress and FastAPI.

As lead developer and partner at Snowcrest Digital I was responsible for the bulk of development, CI/CD and hosting operations, and I built sites and APIs using Django, Laravel, WordPress and FastAPI. I also ran Vantage Internet Projects where I managed remote teams and delivered web and mobile projects to international clients.

My technical focus includes Python (Django, DRF, FastAPI), PHP (Laravel, Symfony), PostgreSQL/MySQL, Docker, Jenkins and Linux system administration. I continually study AI and modern technologies and apply automation to improve reliability and deployment workflows.

I am collaborative, client-focused and driven to work on interesting projects that make a positive contribution. I am willing to relocate, open to full-time roles with one month notice, and target positions that leverage my full stack and DevOps strengths.
