Bryan Wharram

I am an experienced biomedical researcher with decades of hands-on expertise in molecular and cellular biology, animal models, and molecular imaging. I have led and contributed to translational cancer biology projects, developed and managed transgenic/knockout colonies, served as a laboratory safety coordinator, and helped prepare numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and grant proposals.

I have taught undergraduate biotechnology and human biology courses and trained laboratory personnel in best practices for experimental design, animal care and regulatory compliance. My technical strengths include cell culture, recombinant DNA, PCR/qRT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, biodistribution and optical imaging, and I routinely manage lab operations, IACUC/IBC/IRB protocols, and data analysis workflows.
