What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to leverage my research skills while contributing to impactful scientific advancements and fostering educational growth.

I am a dedicated biomedical scientist currently pursuing my M.S. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago. My research experience includes significant contributions at Rush University Medical Center, where I investigated the role of Prolyl carboxypeptidase in cancer signaling pathways. I have honed my skills in advanced molecular biology techniques, including RNA extraction and qPCR, while managing murine colonies for research purposes.

In addition to my research, I have a strong background in teaching, having served as an adjunct professor at Saint Xavier University, where I teach foundational biology courses. My passion for education is complemented by my commitment to community service, as I actively participate in various outreach programs, including volunteering with Girls 4 Science and the COVID-19 Response Team at Rush University. I strive to integrate my scientific knowledge with practical applications to inspire the next generation of scientists.
