I optimize patient flow, capacity, and safety across pediatric healthcare operations.
What I'm looking for
At Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, I coordinated patient flow and capacity across a large, multi-site pediatric healthcare system for more than 11 years. I used real-time operational data and clinical knowledge to support safe placement and continuity of care.
I reviewed Epic medical records, assessed patient status and level-of-care needs, and analyzed admissions, discharges, acuity, census, and bed availability. I partnered with physicians, nursing leaders, emergency departments, intensive care, surgical services, transport teams, and hospital administration to resolve placement barriers.
I also strengthened workflows through operational reporting, standardized practices, orientation resources, and training for new coordinators. During COVID-19 and major system transitions, I adapted quickly to evolving protocols while balancing patient-care and capacity needs.
My MPH work expanded my public health perspective through an evidence-based COVID-19 vaccination initiative for the Chinle Agency of the Navajo Nation. Earlier, as an EMT and paramedic, I delivered advanced prehospital care and coordinated emergency response across multidisciplinary settings.
