I've always been drawn to the moments in healthcare that happen just before or just after the clinical encounter. The phone call that calms someone down before their appointment, the follow-up that catches a gap before it becomes a crisis. That's what first drew me into nursing, and it's exactly what pulled me toward virtual healthcare coordination as my career evolved.

I'm a Registered Nurse with over four years of hands-on clinical and coordination experience across hospital, HMO, home healthcare, and occupational health settings. I started in direct bedside care administering medications, monitoring patients, and working alongside multidisciplinary teams in specialist and pediatric care. From there, I moved into HMO care coordination, where I learned how much a patient's experience depends on the person managing referrals, verifying insurance, and following up behind the scenes. That experience shaped how I now approach remote healthcare support, with the same clinical judgment I'd bring to a bedside, applied to scheduling, documentation, and patient communication.

Alongside my RN license, I completed certification as a Medical Virtual Assistant, earned a HIPAA Compliance Certification, and completed the ALX Virtual Assistant Program because I wanted to formalize the remote-support skills I'd already been building informally such as clear phone and email communication, EMR/EHR documentation across systems like PracticeBetter, DrChrono, and SimplePractice, and the kind of organized follow-through that keeps patients from falling through the cracks.

What genuinely interests me about this field is the operational side of healthcare that most people never see — the coordination, the insurance navigation, the quiet persistence of following up until something actually gets resolved. I'm currently building on that by learning CRM systems through Coursera, since I want to be equally comfortable across clinical, administrative, and patient-engagement workflows.
