Pritpal Singh

I am a Technical Specialist and Full Stack Engineer based in India, with 17 years of software engineering experience, including more than 15 years working remotely with overseas teams. My core expertise spans the MEAN stack—MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js—alongside TypeScript, Python, backend microservices, and enterprise application development.

At HCL Technologies, I contribute to enterprise platforms for Cisco Systems, including Cisco BPA and Cisco IQ. As the sole technical lead for the Python-based Cisco IQ Platform Manager, I develop capabilities for upgrading Cisco devices and virtual machines. On Cisco BPA, I design and implement backend microservices, contribute to architecture and system design, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

My previous work includes progressive web applications, Angular applications, dashboards, and real-time presence and chat systems using Node.js, WebSockets, and STOMP. I have also worked with Firebase integrations, Ethereum applications, and Solidity smart contracts. More recently, my work has included Model Context Protocol (MCP), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI model training.

I bring hands-on engineering depth, technical leadership, and extensive experience collaborating across time zones. I am interested in senior full-stack, technical lead, and technical specialist opportunities where I can own complex features, contribute to architecture, and help distributed teams deliver reliable software. I am open to remote opportunities with international teams hiring in India.
