What I'm looking for

I seek PhD-track research roles in organic/natural products chemistry with hands-on lab work, collaborative teams, and growth toward independent research.

I am an Industrial Chemistry graduate with a Second Class (Upper Division) from Obafemi Awolowo University, experienced in isolation and characterization of phytochemicals from Xylopia aethiopica using column chromatography, recrystallization, NMR, mass spectrometry and IR. I have practical quality control experience from work at a paint manufacturing facility and have presented research and seminars on organocascade reactions and natural product exploration.

I am passionate about natural product synthesis and the therapeutic potential of plant-derived bioactive compounds, actively involved in scientific societies and outreach, and aiming to pursue a PhD in Organic Chemistry to advance drug-discovery focused research.
