What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a leadership-focused Special Education role where I can strengthen IEP execution, mentor educators, and support measurable student progress through data-driven practice and strong regulatory compliance.

I’m an Educational Specialist with over 15 years of expertise in Special Education, instructional leadership, and compliance management. I focus on developing and implementing IEPs, adapting instruction to diverse learner needs, and using data-driven practices to drive progress.

In my current role as an Exceptional Learner Specialist, I develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations. I assess student needs, track academic and behavioral progress, deliver individualized and small group instruction, and provide behavioral interventions and positive behavior supports.

Previously, as a Special Education Department Head, I supervised special education teachers and instructional assistants, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding staff. I led districtwide compliance efforts, managed departmental operations, and delivered professional development to strengthen instructional strategies and ensure policy alignment.

I also bring an additional strength from my background in real estate—bringing communication, organization, and negotiation into every collaborative effort. With an Ed.S. in Administration & Curriculum and certifications including Special Education Teacher (PK–12) and Educational Administration, I’m committed to mentoring educators, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and improving outcomes for K–12 students.
