I am seeking a role that allows me to influence safeguarding policies and practices while working collaboratively with diverse teams to ensure the safety of children and families.

I am a dedicated safeguarding and child protection specialist with over 30 years of experience in public service. My career has been focused on the safety and well-being of children and families, where I have developed proven expertise in leading safeguarding strategies, conducting serious case reviews, and training multi-agency professionals. I have a strong commitment to creating safe, inclusive environments across various settings, including schools, military, and local authorities.

Throughout my career, I have successfully managed sensitive issues with discretion and have delivered safeguarding audits that build cultures of accountability and trust. My role as Head of Social Work Service for the British Forces Cyprus allowed me to work closely with families and educators, delivering welfare and safeguarding advice in a culturally diverse environment. I am passionate about influencing national policy and enhancing safeguarding practices through effective communication and collaboration.
