Served as Senior QA Analyst for multiple shipping-industry web, desktop, and middleware applications. Performed exploratory/regression testing, verified defect fixes and requirements, evaluated data via SQL Enterprise Manager and Azure Cosmos DB, and tracked defects and user stories in Azure DevOps.

Worked as a Senior QA Analyst across two projects, including a mobile/web banking application and an API plus Salesforce front-end insurance application. Conducted hands-on web/mobile testing, ran API testing with Postman and Insomnia, performed test automation using AccelQ, and joined on-site PI planning while onboarding and training new team members.

Led testing for high-profile, customer-facing web and mobile self-serve applications and a Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration. Coordinated testing activities (scheduling, defect triage, documentation, and UAT facilitation), performed hands-on web/mobile and web service testing (Postman and Ready API), and coached a 5-person team.

Tested integrated oil and gas software in an Agile environment, with a focus on implementing single sign-on authentication and regression testing a rig management mobile application. Tested a data-focused oil and gas application by assessing end-to-end data flow and conducting data QC. Reviewed and reported defects and workflow gaps, and initiated an automated testing strategy using Watir and Ruby.

Tested a mobile tablet-based application for grain quality management, including daily build assessment and defect/usability logging. Produced weekly written testing progress reports and maintained ongoing communication with the development team.

Led the test team for migration and synchronization processes of address and equipment data for a large integrated CRM application. Planned and coordinated testing, facilitated daily defect review meetings, presented release test results, and performed hands-on testing using Toad, Oracle SQL Developer, and Fiddler while interviewing and onboarding team members.

Coordinated QA team activities, coaching and mentoring team members while supporting hiring, selection, and training. Built and maintained a test case repository and process with TestLink, tracked defects and user stories in JIRA, and implemented GUI regression automation using Automation Anywhere and Beyond Compare.

Led a distributed test team for Esri-based map and data software applications and managed offshore testing resources. Facilitated acceptance test sessions, tracked test coverage, implemented performance testing methods, and created release documentation including a Quick Start help guide and product demo assets using Camtasia.

Supervised a four-member test team validating desktop and web programs used by stock exchanges and clearinghouses. Authored test cases, supported acceptance test planning, ensured traceability to customer requirements, organized acceptance testing at customer sites, and trained new employees.

Tested Newsline software for newspaper customers by writing and organizing test cases, and providing customer support and training. Coordinated releases (versions, patches, and interim fixes), maintained and tested software install packages, administered Visual SourceSafe, and managed the QA department in the QA manager’s absence.

Earned a B.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Calgary with a major in Psychology and a minor in Management.
