What I'm looking for

I’m looking for full-time or contract remote roles (or relocation) where I can own the backend end to end — Node.js and TypeScript APIs, payment and transaction systems, and the production infrastructure underneath. Happy to relocate for the right team.

I’m a backend engineer with 6+ years of professional experience building production systems in Node.js and TypeScript — REST and RPC APIs, payment and transaction flows, and the infrastructure underneath them.

Most recently I led the backend for Hypersonic Labs’ live real-money gaming platform: a NestJS REST API, a separate economy microservice handling Stripe microtransactions over RPC, and the reliability tooling that kept it running through live sessions — a connection-pool manager and a watchdog monitoring 10+ services across Railway and Cloudflare. I also built the studio’s internal Creator Hub in Next.js and moved the team from manual releases to CI/CD.

Before that I spent just over a year designing and operating distributed network infrastructure across a self-managed fleet of 20+ servers — high-concurrency Go services handling thousands of concurrent connections, encrypted tunnelling, DDoS mitigation, and the monitoring around them. Several of those tools are open source.

I’m comfortable owning a backend end to end — system design, database performance, CI/CD and on-call — and I move into the frontend (React, Next.js) when a feature needs it. Based in Yerevan, open to relocating worldwide.
