As Design Lead for the Reporting Squad of a reg and control ops transformation project (process, people and tech changes for ~2.2k staff) my remit has been to redesign the current reporting suite of >400 reports and deliver ~20-30 reports to serve operational, managerial (to Board level), regulatory and control needs as well as support interim workflow gaps across the project release schedule.

PM of 8 stream leads to design and test reengineered process and introduction of PACE methodology within a multi-disciplinary control group. The pilot was successful in eliminating all failures in QA and non-value activity. It was one of three high-profile PACE pilots across the Group and the lessons learned formed foundational foundational principles for scaling PACE.

Performed lead role in the discovery, design and implementation of solutions to address identified risks in regulatory & control operations realising a significant reduction in risk of compliance breaches.
Transitioned the team to a BAU design and implementation function to deliver against ongoing policy updates across all Fin Crime Operations.

Delivered new tactical processes and governance model for Transaction Monitoring rule design and ongoing validation across multiple global jurisdictions in line with various international regulatory requirements. Led initial design of a Rules Management Framework for the Group which provided a structure for identifying our transaction risks and assessing suitable coverage.

Our team’s remit was to lead customer-centric transformational improvement at a group level. Results included: reduction of accounts payable process steps/handovers by >70% in the interim state and identification of 42 prioritised opportunities for reducing non-value activities of Practice Managers. Shortly after I joined Executive Level restructuring resulted in the team being made redundant.
