I've investigated financial-crime alerts for Remitly's U.S. cross-border remittance platform, taking scam, account-takeover, stolen-information, dispute-abuse, and KYC cases from queue to disposition.
On Sutherland's Customer Protection Team, I used Sift risk scores and Kount rule hits with investigation playbooks to make consistent release, restriction, suspension, and escalation decisions.
I built profile reviews using identity, contact data, transfer velocity, sending corridors, and related accounts. I also collected enhanced due diligence and cleared OFAC, sanctions, watchlist, and PEP matches using Sift, LexisNexis, and OpenCorporates.
Before moving into Customer Protection, I handled remittance operations and KYC reviews, earning promotion after a 90% KYC-review success rate. I work remotely in English and Spanish and bring additional endpoint-support experience across Windows, macOS, payment terminals, and account administration.
