What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build meaningful impact at the intersection of education, research, and policy—where I can use my teaching experience, communication, and organization to support learners and contribute to better educational outcomes.

I’m a passionate, driven first generation college graduate eager to work in the field of education, research, and policy. With a Bachelor of Political Science, I’ve demonstrated learning agility, communication, organization, and teamwork, and I bring experience in living, studying, and working abroad.

As a Social Studies Teacher at Westwood Middle School, I developed engaging lesson plans that enhanced students’ understanding and appreciation of social studies topics, achieving a GPA of 3.89/4.0. I also collaborated with staff to create reliable social and academic structures, communicated with parents and guardians for student support, and created alternative lesson plans to keep ESOL students engaged and learning at the right pace.
