What I'm looking for

I am seeking a teaching role where I can inspire students to think critically, build strong literacy skills, and engage deeply with Social Studies and English Language Arts. I value a collaborative school culture that encourages creativity, technology integration, and professional growth while prioritizing student success and inclusion.

I am a passionate and experienced educator with endorsements in Social Studies and English Language Arts (grades 6–12). Over my career, I have developed a reputation for designing engaging, standards-aligned lessons that build critical thinking, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I enjoy using creative approaches, such as media integration, project-based learning, and classroom gamification, to help students connect with the material and feel motivated to excel. I have extensive experience supporting students with IEPs, 504 plans, and ADHD, and I work closely with colleagues and families to ensure every student can thrive. Beyond teaching, I am deeply interested in history and often bring personal artifacts, such as a 1.2-million-year-old hand axe, to spark curiosity and make learning come alive.
