What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an opportunity to teach high school social studies, create engaging history lessons, support student growth, and contribute to an inclusive classroom.

I've taught and designed history lessons for high school students at Farmville Central High School, including implementing the North Carolina History Curriculum for grades 9–12.

During my full-time student teaching, I developed engaging lesson plans that increased class participation and boosted student history scores. I also graded assignments, provided actionable feedback, and aligned instruction with structured goals to improve performance.

I'm a graduate of East Carolina University with bachelor's degrees in Secondary Education and History, bringing lesson planning, classroom management, critical thinking, communication, and leadership to the classroom.
