At NAS JAX Naval Hospital, I receive and process patient prescriptions, resolve insurance claim issues, and help patients with their questions and needs.
I fill and prepare prescriptions according to pharmacy procedures and safety standards. I also operate and maintain automated pill-packaging equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.
Previously, as a Certified Pharmacy Technician Team Lead at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital, I prepared medication orders for hospitalized patients and managed Automatic Drug Dispensing Systems (Pyxis). I also hold Pharmacy Technician Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
