Developed a nature-based solution to sequester carbon in the deep ocean and wrote a Provisional Patent for Floaters-Coupled-to-Sinkers (FloCS) carbon export. Isolated viral and microbial DNA for metagenomic sequencing and conducted PCR-based assays to amplify microbial DNA for downstream analysis. Assisted with writing, program planning, and budgeting for over $1 million in research proposals.

Currently the founder and CEO of a pre-seed stage startup focused on delivering a nature-based carbon removal technology. Spearheaded development of a patent-pending macroalgae-based carbon sequestration platform and led a cross-disciplinary team through customer discovery and MVP development.
