Stories have been the thread through everything I do. It started in the late ’80s with a hand-me-down NES and grew into a history degree, a career in journalism and PR, and film sets where I work as a screenwriter, editor and script supervisor. I care about what moves a story, what lies behind it, and what makes it hold up. I bring that curiosity to every brand, manuscript and script I work on.
For eight years at Edelman and LLYC, I helped more than 40 brands, from Xbox to global finance and tech companies, find words that land in two languages. I led editorial teams, secured media placements in Forbes and Expansión, and learned that great transcreation isn’t about translating words. It’s about carrying a feeling across cultures without losing what made it true.
When AI arrived, I didn’t fear it; I put it to work, with humans firmly in charge. At LLYC, I designed AI-assisted editorial workflows that multiplied my team’s translation capacity by 400% and kept every message accurate, inclusive and on-brand across 8+ markets. Today I lead editorial strategy for a UNAM professor emerita’s academic legacy. I’m looking for remote teams that need someone who can make technology serve the story, and not the other way around.
