Led a Center of Excellence team advising 85 Executive Agencies on cost/performance systems optimization. Partnered with Agency leaders to develop integrated IT and business plans. Key driver in migrating agencies and their application loads from IBM managed services to AWS.

Architected, designed, and led improvements to Amealio, a hyper-localized restaurant recommendation and ordering app. Revamped the overall application and operating architecture to increase efficiency and improve quality. Designed and developed an Azure-based Payment processing system and cognitive applications utilizing ML platforms.

Led a 380-person IT development and production operation, overseeing a $45M budget for technology strategy and service delivery. Spearheaded cloud and application migrations, modernizing legacy systems to improve efficiency and compliance. Earned a National Association of State CIOs Digitization Award for building a mobile app for Child Support Services.

Led a team of 6 engineers and developers delivering and supporting applications for the Aging Services Division. Projects included an award-winning tool to publicize foster children in need of adoption and a Statewide Transportation Request System. Identified, prioritized, and executed tasks in the SDLC, ensuring compliance with quality, security, and development standards.

Assigned to application projects using Visual Basic, including a Sales Commissions System and a Merchant Processing System. Developed Visual Basic code and Crystal Reports for the State of Georgia Department of Human Services. Hired as a full-time employee by the State in April 2005.
