What I'm looking for

I am looking for a mission-driven role within a nonprofit, community advocacy, or health-adjacent organization where I can utilize my background in case management systems, regulatory compliance, and confidential data management. I want to bring my experience in resource coordination and strict data privacy to a dedicated team that values social impact, accuracy, and helping others.

I am a Healthcare Information Systems student and independent business owner with a diverse professional background spanning business operations, human services, and client care. My career is built on a foundation of strict confidentiality, precise records management, navigating complex regulatory compliance standards, and front line client care.

Currently, I operate my own successful cosmetology business, where I manage scheduling, communication, and operations for over 100 client appointments monthly. In this role, I maintain encrypted electronic client records and independently implement strict data privacy protocols to protect sensitive personal information.

My experience also includes serving as a Shelter Manager and Campus Advocate for a domestic violence shelter, where I directly managed 30 to 80 confidential electronic case records monthly using Osnium case management software. In that position, I ensured absolute compliance with state and federal privacy requirements while documenting crisis interventions and coordinating critical resource referrals across legal, healthcare, and community agencies.

I am currently completing my Healthcare Information Systems coursework, maintaining excellent marks in Tech Concepts, Cyber Security in Healthcare, Population Health, and Medical Terminology.
