Alex Raileanu

I am currently a rising senior at Furman University, double majoring in I.T. and Sociology with a minor in Film Studies. I have worked in various positions within Housing and Residence Life and the Computer Science department on campus, helping develop my interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. I am interested in front-end technology, human-centered interaction, and data analytics.

I am also interested in film positions, including gig work, and have become a strong screenwriter, learning from industry professionals. My short film “SnatchD” was selected at SCUFF (South Carolina Underground Film Festival) and the Babylon Festival.

Ultimately, I care about people and what they want to watch, how they interact with the internet or media, but most importantly, how they are doing and if I can help.
