Computational biologist at DAFNAE, University of Padova, integrating multi-omics to identify disease-resistance loci and breeding markers.

Message

At DAFNAE, University of Padova, I investigate plant traits through genomic and multi-omics analysis. I develop mutation profiles using GBS approaches to support tomato cultivar characterization and marker development, and study phosphate-starvation responses in Beta vulgaris.

During my doctoral research at DAFNAE, I integrated ionomic, transcriptomic, and mutational profiling to characterize tomato resistance to ToBRFV. I also identified novel Fusarium wilt resistance loci in tomato and investigated powdery mildew resistance in melon using comparative multi-omics approaches.
