What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a company that actively promotes professional growth through structured learning time and internal career trajectories for tech roles, but also understands the importance of a good work-life balance. A collaborative environment with a culture of reciprocal support and socialization between colleagues is a must. A remote-first company is preferable, but not strictly required.

I'm a professional driven by the desire to make an impact. I moved from Bioinformatics research to Data Engineering, where I have the chance to work on consultancy projects with a clear real-world application in the healthcare & pharma sector. Examples of things I worked on include: coordinating with 15+ consortium partners to harmonize patient records in different formats to a common data model, transforming loosely formulated business requirements into a custom validation report with 150+ complex data quality checks understandable by a non-technical audience, and building a custom ETL framework (Python & PostgreSQL) to improve the efficiency of our internal workflow, which has since become the starting point of every new data mapping project in my team. I enjoy working with a diverse group of people and learning from my colleagues, as well as helping others learn through coaching, articles, and presentations.
