What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a backend-focused role where I can build scalable REST APIs and microservices, work with distributed systems and messaging (Kafka), and keep improving through testing, mentorship, and real product impact.

I’m a Software Engineering student with experience building scalable REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. I’ve worked with NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript, Kafka, and PostgreSQL, and I enjoy designing reliable backend features with clean validation and test-driven development.

In my internship at Fixed Misr (FEDIS), I designed an appointment booking REST API with slot CRUD, double-booking prevention across entities, and scheduled reminder emails. I also led real outcomes in projects like StudyBuddy—deploying 7 microservices with a GraphQL gateway and Kafka, cutting computation by 99% and latency by 40%—and I bring strong technical mentorship from my TA role, helping students reach full test coverage.
