Ahmed El Sawalhy

I am a full-stack software engineer with hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications, mobile apps, and data-driven services for government and enterprise clients. I prioritize clean code, best practices, and rapid incident response to keep critical systems reliable.

I have implemented backend services using .NET, Node.js, Express and deployed data solutions with SQL, Redis, Prisma and Entity Framework, while developing React-based frontends and Capacitor mobile apps. I integrated OpenAI to create conversational assistants and built analytics chatbots over large SQL datasets to translate natural language into structured data queries.

In production roles I resolved over 10 incidents, delivered UI/UX improvements, third-party API integrations, performance optimizations, and introduced Airflow health checks and Discord alerting to eliminate silent DAG failures. I have also contributed to public-health and environmental platforms used by national agencies.

I hold a B.Sc. in Computer & Communications Engineering and seek to apply my cloud, DevOps, and AI-augmented development experience to projects that value operational excellence and user-centered solutions.
