What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can edit and deliver high-precision multilingual translation and interpretation—supporting international, policy, and legal work with confidentiality, strong editorial standards, and meaningful cross-cultural communication.

I’m a multilingual Translator, Interpreter, and Editor with proficiency in Urdu, English, Pashto, and Chinese. I help teams communicate accurately and confidently in complex, sensitive environments—especially where legal, policy, and international stakes are high.

With extensive experience supporting United Nations entities, I’ve provided simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, handled multilingual coordination, and translated legal and policy materials. I’ve worked under UNV and UNDP standards, maintaining strict confidentiality and linguistic precision throughout remote and high-security assignments.

Right now, I’m serving as an Editor with the Atlas Institute for International Affairs, where I proofread, edit, and prepare analytical articles and opinion pieces for publication. I also work as a legal translator for a UK-based law firm, translating witness statements, particulars of claim, medical reports, and engineering examination reports while ensuring terminological consistency and accuracy.

Beyond direct translation and interpretation, I’ve taught and researched at NUML, supported media analysis for emerging political and social topics, and contributed editorial leadership as a Magazine Editor. Across every role, I prioritize coherence, cultural accuracy, and quality control—so the message stays clear from draft to delivery.
