What I'm looking for

I’m looking to grow further in systems engineering and secure infrastructure, owning challenging migrations and server management. I want to work with teams where I can lead projects, improve service delivery, and support reliable IT for users.

I’m an IT enthusiast who enjoys working with technology daily, and I’ve been building skills since I started in IT at the age of 17. I feel very comfortable in a senior position, and I’m driven by a passion to stay in the industry for the most part of my career.

From 2017 onward, I stepped into senior responsibility as Group IT Manager support for over 600 users, managing a team of 8. I help ensure, manage, and project-plan IT delivery for 16 remote offices across the globe—covering server config and management, security systems like antivirus, mail and web filters, WSUS, and databases including SQL and accounting tools such as ViewPoint and Sage.

More recently, as a Systems Engineer at GibFibre, I install, prepare, upgrade, and maintain internal and external systems, currently focusing on migrating hypervisors from VMware server to XCP hypervisor (CentOS-based) using XAPI and Xen Orchestra. I maintain over 130 virtual servers and about 20 physical servers across a team of 2, with a strong focus on Linux distros such as CentOS, Debian, and Ubuntu (while also supporting Windows servers).

My earlier roles strengthen my end-to-end mindset, from Junior IT Support Technician through Level 2 Helpdesk Support—handling tasks like Microsoft Exchange, Sophos Enterprise Console (web/mail filtering, antivirus), Windows Server, and helpdesk/hardware & software troubleshooting. I also hold an ITIL Foundation certification and I’m currently studying for the practitioner level, so I can keep improving how I deliver reliable services.
