Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Training Manager to develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills, improve performance, and drive organizational success. This role will involve designing learning strategies that align with our company's mission and values, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with management and staff to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement
- Design, develop, and implement engaging training programs that cater to diverse learning styles, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and formats
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and performance metrics
- Collaborate with department heads to create tailored training solutions that support specific business objectives
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring a supportive and dynamic learning environment
- Maintain training records and documentation, measuring the impact of training initiatives on employee performance and retention
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a managerial role
- Proven track record of designing and implementing effective training programs
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
Preferred:
- Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus
- Familiarity with performance management systems and metrics
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools
- Experience with data analysis tools to assess training effectiveness
- Knowledge of project management software to track training initiatives
