Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Training Manager to lead our training initiatives across the organization. In this fully remote role, you will design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills, foster professional development, and drive organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training strategies and programs that address the needs of various departments and align with organizational goals
- Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to identify skill gaps and training requirements
- Create engaging training materials and curricula, utilizing various instructional methods and technologies to enhance learning experiences
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, both virtually and in-person, to deliver impactful training to diverse audiences
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary
- Manage the training budget and resources, ensuring efficient utilization and alignment with company objectives
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting training opportunities and professional development across the organization
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Proven ability to develop training programs that drive measurable results and improve employee performance
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Certifications in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) are a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training software
- Experience with e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar
- Familiarity with data analysis tools to assess training effectiveness and ROI
Soft Skills and Cultural Fit
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Creative problem-solver with a passion for developing others and a commitment to excellence
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while fostering collaboration and teamwork
