Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and regulatory inspections.
- Continuously evaluate and improve safety processes and procedures based on industry best practices and lessons learned.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in system safety, risk management, or related roles within highly regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and ARP4761.
- Proven ability to lead safety assessments and facilitate cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex safety concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certification as a Safety Professional (e.g., CSP, ASP).
- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or defense industries.
- Familiarity with safety analysis tools and methodologies, such as FMEA, FTA, and ETA.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in safety management systems and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient in risk assessment tools and techniques.
- Experience with incident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis.
- Ability to utilize software for safety analysis and reporting.
