Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in safety engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership in safety management
- Deep understanding of safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements specific to our industry
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing effective safety protocols
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making and root cause analysis
Preferred:
- Master's degree in engineering, safety management, or a related discipline
- Certification in safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001) or professional safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH)
- Experience in implementing Lean or Six Sigma methodologies within safety engineering processes
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in safety management software and tools for risk assessment and incident tracking
- Familiarity with safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, HAZOP, and fault tree analysis
- Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools to monitor safety performance metrics
