Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Process Control Engineer to join our innovative engineering team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of process control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and DCS
- Participate in the troubleshooting and optimization of existing control systems to improve process efficiency
- Support the implementation of control strategies in collaboration with senior engineers
- Conduct data analysis to identify process performance metrics and areas for improvement
- Document control system configurations and maintain accurate records of modifications
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of control theory and process automation
- Experience with programming languages used in process control such as Ladder Logic or Function Block Diagram
- Familiarity with process instrumentation and control devices
Preferred:
- Internship or co-op experience in a process engineering role
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to process control
- Familiarity with simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) for process control

- Understanding of PLC programming and configuration
- Experience with control system software and tools
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
