ZERO TO THREE is a national nonprofit organization focused on ensuring that all babies and toddlers have a strong start in life. With the belief that early connections last a lifetime, we inform, train, and support professionals, policymakers, and parents to improve the lives of infants and toddlers. Neuroscientists warn that these early days are a period of unparalleled growth when crucial brain connections are formed. As such, the quality of care and interactions with caregivers is critical to a child's health and development.

In an effort to advocate for the well-being and development of babies and toddlers, we engage in research and collaborate with policymakers to shape public policy. Our resources provide evidence-based tips and tools for optimal parenting and education, enhancing understanding of childhood development. At ZERO TO THREE, we emphasize the importance of emotional and mental health in early development, offering training and programs designed to equip caregivers and professionals to nurture and meet the emotional needs of infants.
