Your role will be to provide brilliant service to a portfolio of own clients or as part of an advisory or pyramid team.

What you’ll be doing

WorkNest strive to provide the best value, fixed fee employment law & employee relations advisory service in the UK. Supported by cutting edge technology, we provide genuinely commercial and pragmatic advice focused on finding solutions for our clients EL/ER problems. As our Employment Law Advisor, you’ll play a fundamental role in the successful delivery of our business objectives. As part of the wider legal team, you will work within a smaller team of advisers with your own portfolio of clients.

You'll cultivate strong client relationships through offering top-tier, legally sound advice, positioning yourself as their go-to source for employment law matters. Your role will advising your clients on a variety of legal areas such as absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues, discrimination, terms and conditions of employment, redundancies, TUPE and drafting settlement agreements. You will opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills through exposure to a wide variety of employment issues, with the support of more senior professionals.

About you

This role would suit a qualified legal professional with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a trainee/paralegal. Candidates with more than 2 years’ experience delivering EL & ER advice in other legal or HR settings may also be considered.

For this role you will need a strong grasp of current employment law, demonstrating proficiency in providing advice in its fundamental aspects. While still enhancing your expertise, you should be adept at operating within a predominantly fixed-fee framework and be capable of efficiently managing priorities and meeting deadlines. You will have a clear understanding of business dynamics, maintain high standards of client support, and show tangible proof of achieving your business goals and ensuring client satisfaction.
