Main Purpose of the Role

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Learning the tools associated with translation work;
• Precisely following the established translation process, e.g. always raising queries when there is a need to;
• Learning the style guide and overall client’s requirements, e.g. stylistic preferences;
• Keeping track of personal error statistics and work on the weak spots;
• Taking part in the internal trainings and the ones organized by the client;
• Participating in the error arbitration process;
• Meeting the productivity KPIs;
• Taking part in the internal quality meetings and the quality calls organized by the client for the whole team;
• Constantly analyzing own gaps and thinking of what assistance the senior members and the client can provide to help address those.

Qualification and required skills

• University degree in Linguistics/Translation OR;
• University degree in other fields AND relevant translation experience;
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken, in a wide range of registers);
• Native fluency in Russian.
