We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in test automation and a passion for building robust, scalable testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks for web applications.
- Perform API testing and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to define test strategies and improve automation coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and ensure timely defect resolution.
- Support and mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices.
- Continuously improve test efficiency, reliability, and coverage.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with Playwright and test framework design.
- Strong coding skills in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python for automation scripting.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Solid debugging and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile team environments.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
