The Managing Director (MD) will be responsible for steering the strategic direction of the organization and overseeing the successful rollout of its downstream LPG business. This role demands a seasoned leader with a strong background in the oil and gas sector—particularly LPG—focused on operational excellence, market expansion, revenue growth, and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will lead company-wide operations, drive business performance, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure efficient daily operations and compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Develop and execute business plans to drive market growth, increase profitability, and expand market share in the downstream LPG sector.
- Lead and manage a high-performing leadership team while cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies, distribution partners, vendors, and customers.
- Monitor financial performance, implement cost-control measures, and ensure product quality is upheld.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, strengthening the organization’s competitive position.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience in a senior operational role within the energy sector, preferably in the LPG industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; an advanced degree or professional certifications will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-site operations with a focus on strategic execution.
- Strong expertise in operations management, regulatory compliance, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Experienced in driving cross-functional initiatives and organizational growth.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian LPG/oil & gas market is a significant plus.
- Preferred age range: 38 to 55 years.
