We are looking for a Lead Frontend UI Developer with deep expertise in headless JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Angular, combined with strong skills in HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and responsive design. This role will focus on leading the development and architecture of modern, scalable web applications in eCommerce and product-driven environments.
You’ll be a hands-on technical leader who thrives in fast-paced settings—capable of quickly translating business needs into functional code, mentoring developers, driving best practices, and owning the delivery of key UI components and features.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Project Delivery
- Lead the architecture and implementation of complex frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather UI/UX requirements, provide effort estimates, and assess development risks.
- Provide hands-on mentoring and technical guidance to engineers through code reviews, debugging, and pair programming.
- Set up project scaffolding, CI/CD pipelines, and core reusable UI components.
- Work closely with backend and data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and high-performance user experiences.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage a team of frontend engineers, conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
- Promote team culture, foster collaboration, and uphold high engineering standards.
Team Scaling & Recruitment
- Contribute to hiring processes, interview strategies, and evaluation of candidates.
- Advocate for diversity and inclusion in team building and daily operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of frontend development experience with strong focus on modern web technologies.
- Expertise in React, Angular, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), Redux, TailwindCSS, and bundlers like Webpack or Vite.
- Experience with UI component libraries such as Material-UI, Ant Design, or Chakra UI.
- Proven experience delivering and owning production-grade web applications at scale.
- Experience leading teams, mentoring engineers, and working cross-functionally.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with UX tools such as Figma.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or other cloud-native technologies.
- Experience with Google Analytics, tag management, and performance optimization strategies.
