A Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that railway operations and projects adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.

This role involves conducting regular audits of railway activities, identifying any areas of non-compliance, and implementing corrective measures to address these issues. The officer is tasked with staying up-to-date on changes in legislation and standards affecting the railway industry and interpreting how these changes impact company operations. They also develop and oversee compliance training programs for employees to ensure widespread understanding and adherence to compliance protocols. Additionally, the Compliance Officer acts as a liaison between Alstom and onsite employees, handling inspections, reporting compliance statuses, and managing any issues related to compliance. Their work is crucial in minimising legal risks, enhancing safety, and maintaining the integrity and reputation of the Project.
