We are seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in repairing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components, specifically PSD (Passenger Screen Door) and APG (Automatic Platform Gate) systems. They will possess excellent diagnostic skills to identify and resolve issues with PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), diagnose faulty components, and perform necessary repairs. The candidate should also be proficient in using a wide range of electrical repair and test equipment, including soldering irons, multi-meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.

Who will you be working with?

You will be working with our CS Operations and Maintenance team who are expertise to ensure on-site work are performed safely, on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the customer.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the CS Operations and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components of PSD and APG systems, also perform PCB troubleshooting, effectively identifying and isolating faulty components for repair.

What will your typical day look like?

• Repair and troubleshoot of PCB, mechanical and electrical components of PSD and APG systems.
• Utilize soldering irons, multi-meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes for electrical repair and testing.
• Act as an instructor, provide training and guidance to team members. Prepare training materials and assessment to team members if needed
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians, if required.

What do we want to know about you?

• Proven experience in repairing and troubleshooting of PCB mechanical and electrical components of PSD and APG systems.
• Holder of REW(A) or higher certification.
• Familiar with a wide range of electrical repair and test equipment, including soldering irons, multi-meters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
• In-depth understanding of electronic circuitry and the ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting complex electronic systems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations during repairs and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adapt to new technologies and stay updates with industry advancements.
• Experience with quality control processes and ensuring adherence to standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting repairs and maintaining records.
