Our journey started within our sister company, tentree, a sustainable apparel brand that plants ten trees for every item sold. As tentree grew, so did our commitment to making a real, verifiable impact. We quickly realized the immense challenge of tracking and verifying reforestation efforts at scale. This led to the creation of our own platform, an internal tool designed to ensure the integrity of our planting projects. The demand and interest from other companies who, like us, wanted to make a genuine difference, was overwhelming. This inspired us to spin veritree out as a standalone company in 2021, with a mission to empower other businesses to join the restorative economy.
