The Partner Marketing Manager plays a key role in the rapid growth of the Vasion partner program. This role will be responsible for supporting the acquisition of new partners along with deepening relationships with existing partners, including Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). A typical week in this role includes working with the channel sales team on co-marketing opportunities, creating partner marketing content and tools, and collaborating with the other marketing teams to launch and track campaigns, and report on the success of projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and track annual marketing plans targeted towards our channel partners.
  • Drive and promote partner program activities: incentive programs, demand generation, deal registration, and education.
  • Collaborate with sales and creative teams to create partner-specific marketing materials including: presentations, whitepapers, sales tools, and other deliverables.
  • Oversee budget and expenses ensuring tight alignment with budget vs actual spend.
  • Report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI.
  • Execute on campaigns that deepen relationships with our existing channel partners, along with assisting the acquisition of new channel partners
  • Assist with go-to-market campaigns for new product launches or releases specifically focused around our channel partners and their ability to sell our joint solutions.
  • Establish close working relationships with marketing constituents at strategic partners, ensuring initiatives are aligned to GTM objectives.
  • Stay current on the competitive landscape and ensure effective positioning of our solutions for the partners.
  • Build brand awareness and preference through partner-related activities

Requirements

  • 4+ years of marketing experience.
  • 2+ years experience working with B2B channel partners, including VARs and MSPs.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and measuring channel demand programs at scale.
  • A proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Channel or Sales teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 5x per year to Utah and/or other US locations for partner events and conferences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating and supporting virtual partner-related events, such as webinars.
  • Experience managing in-person field events, including trade shows and conferences.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Valued Added Resellers (VARs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
  • A self-starter who can work well with remote-based management and with cross-functional and regional teams.
  • Solid interpersonal and written communication skills – including the ability to confidently represent your company while speaking with partners.
  • Project management capabilities (Workfront experience a plus!)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with both an eye for detail and lateral thinking
  • Ability to prioritize work for efficiency, including juggling multiple projects without skipping a beat.
