As part of the SHIFT project we need a dedicated employee working with SHS and Varian to collaborate on synergy targets and drive new sources of revenue.

The Director, Strategic Accounts, Americas is a fast paced, dynamic, high growth and entrepreneurial role that is responsible for driving to revenue targets through collaboration between VIS (Varian Interventional Solutions), Siemens Healthineers NAM and Varian NAM. This role will work closely with the with individual business lines to maximize synergy opportunities as well as the Enterprise Solutions team to coordinate revenue driving initiatives through the Siemens Healthineers Value Partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales prospects and capture revenue by focusing on collaboration and synergies between Interventional Solutions and Siemens Healthineers.
  • Maximize the impact and revenue attainment of new product launches through strategic initiatives with Siemens Healthineers
  • Prioritize and clearly articulate the top account engagements with a detailed understanding of both the opportunities and threats
  • Take the leadership role for partnership strategic account sales by collaborating with both internal sales and cross-functional teammates to deliver value to Siemens Healthineers
  • Create and maintain key internal relationships throughout Siemens Healthineers
  • Create and deliver effective sales presentations and develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and business.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies designed to meet the overall IS objectives.
  • Create and present market intelligence, customer feedback/trends, sales performance and strategic customer engagement initiatives to Interventional Solutions leadership
  • Set and obtain revenue synergy targets throughout the Americas
  • Manage key accounts and clinical relationships vital to synergy targets
  • Work independently and tactically in a start-up environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Travel Requirements: ​50% or more.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • 15+ years of demonstrated experience in Sales or Strategic Account Management
  • 15+ years of demonstrated experience in medical sales calling on hospitals and clinics
  • Degree in preferably Business, Marketing or Medical/Biological Sciences
  • Experienced in financial reporting, forecasting and market share analysis
  • Strong sales management orientation and aptitude for learning mechanical or scientific subjects
  • Knowledge of surgical protocol techniques and terminology preferred
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience in start-up environment

Skills/Knowledge

  • Ethical and Compliant to company and industry guidelines
  • Ability to develop in a country manager role
  • Proficient in the following computer software applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively communication both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting, talking, hearing, and near vision are required over 90% of the time, while walking is required about 10% of the time. Standing is required over 30% of the time. The sense of touch is required 90% of the time and reaching is required about 50% of the time. Bending, twisting, and climbing are required, as is far vision, but only for 10% or less of the time. Low levels of lifting (10 pounds or less) are required about 25% of the time, while medium levels (20 to 40 pounds) of lifting and carrying are required less than 5% of the time. High levels (52 pounds) of lifting are required under 2% of the time. Traveling to client location is a considerable portion of the position.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $134,500 - Max $241,900

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
