ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Manager, Executive Support manages the day-to-day operations within the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) office. This position manages the team’s coordinators, who directly assist the organization’s executive leaders. They also function as the primary project manager for the executive team, delivering timely, confidential, and proficient support to facilitate project execution and goal attainment. The Manager, Executive Support, is also responsible for leading the planning and execution of organization-wide meetings and events.
UnboundEd is a virtual organization, and this employee can be based anywhere in the United States. UnboundEd has core business hours where we expect all staff to be available from 10 am to 6 pm ET, and 20% travel is required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
CEO Office Support: Ensure optimum productivity and efficiency for the Office of the CEO by creating and maintaining necessary systems, structures, and tools to:
- Represent the CEO and the organization with strategic communication and decision-making with external stakeholders
- Facilitate executive project management by naming barriers, identifying solutions, and facilitating cross-functional project management with executives
- Maintain project calendars and assist with logistical details and resolving scheduling conflicts
- Ensure that follow-up from meetings and other commitments are captured and done in a high-quality and timely manner
- Enter information into task and project management systems
- Project manage cross-functional executive projects and develop solutions for barriers to goal attainment
- Respond to requests for information from individuals, schools and school systems, colleagues, and other internal and external constituents
- Create administrative systems and processes
Project Manage Organization-Wide Meetings and Events: Organize the details of various team meetings and regularly occurring organization-wide meetings
- Analyze org data to establish goals, outcomes, and priorities for virtual and in-person all staff meetings
- Develop timelines, identify collaborators, and manage the budget for large-scale events and projects from the CEO’s office
- Develop the scope and sequence for all staff meetings utilizing org data analysis and informed by adaptive organizational needs
- Lead cross-functional efforts to support the programmatic outcomes and objectives of organization-wide meetings and events
Team Management: Supervises at least two (2) Coordinators, Administrative Support
- Supervise and develop the team’s coordinators through guidance, mentoring, support and professional development
- Assign tasks, timelines, and strategies to achieve goals and objectives as determined by the Chief of Staff
- Lead the team to successfully meet its goals
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of progressive experience in an administrative position supporting senior-level executives in a k-12 setting, consisting of two (2) years of experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects and two (2) years of people management experience
- Six Sigma or project management certification preferred
- Other equivalent combinations of experience, training, and education will also be considered

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
UnboundEd offers competitive salaries commensurate with experience and education and a generous benefits package that includes take-as-you-need vacation time, group medical, dental and vision plans, disability and life insurance plans, and an employer-sponsored 401K retirement plan with a 5% employer contribution and no vesting period or salary cap. This is a full-time, exempt, position with a salary of $103,000-$155,000 per year. A compensation offer is based on relevant years of experience in relation to the position.
